"Down On The Corner," is an interdisciplinary program for school assemblies and other children's programs. Through music and humor, the Juggernaut Jug Band will let your students experience:

• a form of American music that uses "found" homemade, and traditional instruments from the turn of the twentieth century and today;
• the original form of recycling - a Jug Band!
• how to improvise and make music with what is at hand;
• how American music has evolved from ragtime, blues, and folk into the popular music of today.

Program length is approximately 50 minutes.
Suggested for grades K-8. Study guide available.
Requirements: 1 electric outlet & stage or clear area
